Welcome to the only site, that we know of, on the Social Studies 9 Alberat Circulum. We, Neesha and Sarah-Jean, are making this site to help everyone in grade nine with Social Studies.
As most of you know, the grade nine Social Studies circulum says that us students have to learn about Russia (USSR), the USA and Canada. We don't know about the rest of you, but they sure could have picked more interesting topics. Like, umm, how about that Atlantis, the country that supposedly existed.
Well, since they didn't, we have decided to make a site dedicated to helping everyone learn the circulum in a more student friendly way, (at least we hope it's student friendly). Below are three links to each of the three topics, Russia, USA and Canada. Each of these links will magicly transport you to another page that has more links to pages about important information that you need to know.
These links will be about the American Industrial Revolution, the Russia Revolution of 1917, Timelines and so on. On each page, you will also find a glossary of important terms. At the bottem of this page, are the definitions that are important to all three sections: Market, Mixed and Planned/Command economies.
NOTE: We really really hope you enjoy this site and find it helpful. We would absoultly love feedback, good or bad. Please email us at: [email protected] Just out of curiosity, how did you find out about this site, and why are you here? We're sorry, but we can't understand why kids would actually want to visit this site, but then again, maybe you aren't a kid, oohhh, spooky. (Yes, we know! We over use comma's)
NOW TO THE LINKS
As you know, once you've worked hard all year/semester, you have to take the Grade 9 Social Achievement Test. Here's some info to help you out: Achievement Info
