consumers want advertising to be more accurate and

so they know exactly what they’re buying.
GRADING:
grading is needed so consumers know the quality of the
product
they’re buying.
GUARANTEES:
guarantees protect the consumer from products that don’t
work
properly.
SAFETY: consumers must be protected against goods that are dangerous or hazardous.
TO
BE INFORMED: consumers must be able to rely on information given
by
manufacturers. In other words, advertising claims must be true. Deceptive
claims are known as "false advertising."
CHOICE:
manufacturers should provide choice in the goods and
services
available.
TO
BE HEARD: consumers’ concerns must be listened to and
addressed.
